Crystallized Titanium Bolt Action Pen

This is the first time we've worked with crystallized titanium, which is produced by superheating titanium alloy to over 2100 °F in a vacuum then letting it sit for hours. The distinct crystal pattern is a shift in the structure of the material and is seen all the way through the pen, not just on the surface. We highlighted the pattern by leaving the surface smooth and polished, and then etching them. For the initial release we decided on two anodized colors, turquoise and a gray/silver reminiscent of meteorite, for the body and bolts paired with a black DLC clip and internal.
